"Me" posted on Sept 2007 research companies are exempt from the do not call list.

That's NOT true.  Those companies will tell you the same thing, too.  Look CLOSELY at the FTC code, and it does NOT say "research" companies are exempt.  If you want to get specific - they'r soliciting for information.  But in fact... government surveys and non-profit research are the ONLY exempt!  I went head to head with a research CEO, and finally conceded I was correct.

Another one of those callers that refuse to leave a message.  If I don't know who you are whether your name comes up on caller id or not, I am not going to answer the phone.  If you are really itnerested in talking to me, leave a message!  If I want - I will call you.

Received a call yesterday and just now.  Caller ID says "FLAKE WILKERSON" and the number is "501-217-3296".

Flake Wilkerson 501-217-3296 these people have called incessantly, never leave a message, when my son answered they asked for me but spoke so low that he could barely hear them.  They are calling 2-3 times daily and make me quite insane.

Asked for me and then hung up before I got to the phone.  I called *69 and got the number and dialed it.  It was Flake Wilkerson, a company that does surveys.  I am on the "Do Not Call" list and am not sure if this is a violation or not.
