484-860-3700 Pennsylvania called our business 4 times in less than 2 minutes. The first call I answered and they asked to speak to our Financial Controller or our CFO. News flash, we don't have either one. I asked where they were calling from and they vaguely said "Credit Services". I asked what this was regarding and they said it was regarding our business credit and again demanded to speak to our non-existent CFO. I politely said "no thank you, we're not interested." and hung up.
This is where things got crazy. The same guy called back immediately and when I answered, told me, "Wow, I can't believe how rude you were!" EXCUSE ME?? You're the one calling back when I already told you No Thank You. I again politely said "No Thank you, we are not interested, please do not call again" and hung up a second time.
He then immediately called back a third time, demanding to speak to my manager. I again said No Thank You, please don't call again and hung up.
He called A FOURTH TIME, again demanding my manager so "he could report my rude behavior." At this point, my coworkers were laughing in the background because of how ridiculous this was. I said for a fourth time, 'We are NOT interested! DO NOT call again!!"
No more calls, yet. At least now I know what number to look out for. For the record, I was extremely professional and polite the entire time, that's my job. This company's intimidation and scare tactics (threatening to complain to my manager, lol ok buddy) are what's unprofessional and rude.
