A guy with a foreign accent called, said they were a mortgage co, told him I wasnt interested in a refi, he said thats not why he's calling but kept asking for my home loan info, interest rate, loan amount, etc.  He said they are a program to make people aware of better rates.  Then started again with asking for info so I just hung up.

My husband made a dumb mistake and signed up with Quicken Loans about a new refinance on our mortgage. However he forgot we had just refinanced and therefor cannot pay off the loan for 3 years! But apparently Quicken Loans farms out these phone numbers and now we are bombarded by all sorts of "mortgage offers".  Bottom Line..be careful who you give your phone numbers to!
