They are a scam.   Block the number.   I close residential real estate transactions with a large bank.   I hope you feel better a heart attack is enough stress.

This is a spoofed, fake phone number.

People report several different results:  they might hang up when you answer; they might ask about refinancing your house (although they don't seem to know the refi business); they might ask to speak to 'the homeowner' or a certain person's name; they might threaten to have you arrested on a 'complaint; they might insult you or ask crazy questions...

Clearly, it's a scam.  They appear to be phishing for information.  They might be working with other scammers (like bogus debt collectors) to see who will answer your phone.

If you find out who this is let me know.. I'll call the FCC on there [***]!!  They call me somtimes 5 times a day and when I call back I get recipients mail box is full.. how fricking annoying!

Said it was from a mortgage company
I said I don't have a mortgage.
they hung up
then they called back two days in a row.
I've now blocked their call

Calling every day, multiple times a day.  I do not answer and they do not leave a message.
