I see this number has not stopped calling.  I've received 10 calls within the past 24 hours.  Call 3 x in a row, then another 2, etc....

This number called me for the first time yesterday, no message, I haven't signed up for anything, I would hope it's not a reputable company I have purchased from online, or one place I signed my son up for easier bill paying only things I used my number on in the last 2 days. I would hope a company like amazon wouldn't use another company that would spam people tho, that's where I got the bill paying service company from.
Why did they ever allow these people to call cell phones, it's not a cheap service to have we shouldn't have to deal with spam. I typically just use my Google # and put it on do not disturb, it has helped a lot.

If the calls don't stop you may need a call blocker.

Many smart phones come with a call blocker ap pre-installed or you can download a free one.
For a land line a call blocker is an electronic box that plugs into the phone line between the phone and the wall.  You can buy one for less than $50 at Best Buy or on Amazon.

For a simple cell phone ask your carrier about call blocking.  Or put the pest in your contacts list and give them the ring tone "no ring" or "silence".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore.

Called a few times and won't leave a message... Doesn't bug me, they are calling a number than I only have an answering machine on. It doesn't ring no matter who calls. And I do say on the message that if you need me to call you back, you HAVE to leave a message as it is the only way I will know to call you back.

These days because of all the data breaches out there, I don't trust anyone. I always call back and look up the number to the company they say they are calling from, from another source... Prevents most of the scamming. I was hoping someone here had actually spoken to someone and could tell me what this is...

On my cell I call block (really just auto sends to VM) the repeat robo and span callers and it has an unlimited capacity. Home phones the best bet is one of those call block devices mentioned already.
