bogus person wants to send check then have thier movers come

Have an ad on craigslist and they want to send a check and have their movers come pick up the product... Not the first time this has happened!  SCAM

posted item on Craigslist and they texted me soon after I posted that they wanted to send a check and then have their movers come pick it up.  SCAM!  dont fall for it.

Did you get the check or not?  I think my wife let it go to far and they sent the check today.  Now what should I do?

Does the scam mentioned above look familiar?

Bring the check to your bank, and ask them to investigate.
If it is fake (as suspected), bring the check and the envelope in which it came to your post office, so they can pursue using the mails to defraud.
