484-200-0123 calls to collect donations to the Fraternal Order of Police.

Confused,  I  live in the area of where the call is coming from and I remember the fraternal order of police calling here about once a year for donations.  My mom acted as if it was a legitimate thing and I believe she donated a few times.  I was wondering where you are located bcuz I think my mom thought it was for local police.

Fop is a for profit agency

Telemarketing for "Fraternal Order of Police". Name on caller ID listed as "Unknown".

This is a scam. 100% or close to 100% of all "donations" goes to the telemarketer itself.

Caller said he was from FOP and the call was being recorded for quality purposes, I told him I was unable to help with a donation but he put on the high pressure and asked how much I was going to give him.  I never had a legitimate FOP caller do that before, I said no 4 times before I raised my voice and said NO, what part of that don't you understand, and he quickly ended the call, very suspicious.
