Called me twice.  First time I sent it to voicemail because I was at work.  They called again within 2 minutes.  Since it was a local number, I answered.  It was a recording saying that a conference call was starting and to press a number to join.  Definitely not someone I knew.

Got a call from this number and it was a recording of a man saying I had a live conference call, press one to connect live,  or 9 to dismiss.  I pressed 9 and it hung up. Is it a phishing scam?

Just got the same things - said to press 1 for a conference call - I hung up and added them to DO NOT CALL LIST

Keeps calling and won't leave message.

Wife got a call, "Your conference is about to begin..."  Hung up.  It called back.  Suspicious -- maybe a pay-to-listen billing fraud trick.  We'll look for it on our bill.
