Received a call on my cell phone from 480-337-3047 on 1-21-2013.  Caller garbled his name and said he was with Wells Fargo then hung up.  Pretty sure Wells Fargo is not going to be calling me on a national holiday when the bank is closed!

I didn't answer the call, because I figured it was some con on the line. I really hate these people. I also have gotten calls from Dallas, Las Vegas and Oakland. Those areas have no business bothering me on my personal cell phone.

Received a call from (480) 337-3047 and a person identified himself as Eric Larson with Wells Fargo. He was offering great auto loan/refinancing options. He asked that I submit an application and credit check. I told him I was busy and he quickly hung up. I would have expected a little more persistence from a real Wells Fargo representative. Anyway I hung up and called Wells Fargo to confirm they do not solicit business this way. They DO NOT so do not fall for this scumbag's scam.

IT SEEMS THAT WELLS FARGO NEEDS TO CAPTURE THIS/THESE PEOPLE  SUCH AS ERIC LARSON AND APRIL NEED 480-375-9003 AND CASEY  WHO EVER HE IS AND SET THINGS STRAIGHT. IF WELLS FARGO IS SPONORING SUCH ADVERTISING AND HAS OR GETTING PERSONAL INFORMATION AND TRYING TO RE-FI SOMETHING OR PRODUCT THEN WHY THE GARBLE AND WHY IS THE LOCAL WELLS FARGO BANKS NOT AWARE OF WHAT IS GOING ON. IF IN FACT THIS IS TRUE THEN WELLS FARGO YOU NEED TO GET OFF YOUR THUMBS AND PROVIDE THE PROOF THAT THIS IS REAL AND NOT HIDE A PRODUCT THAT IS BEING ?? SOLD??

I just got the same call.  Let it go to voicemail.  The message was "Hi there, this is Eric Larson, Wells Fargo, call me back at 480-337-3047."  No reason, no nothing!  What a joke!  

I will be alerting Wells Fargo.
