We just got my son his first cell phone and he has been receiving calls from this number daily. I've told him not to answer and they never leave messages.
Well, today they called again and I picked up. I believe they called themselves Merchant Care and they said something about some business opportunity... I informed them that this was a child's cell phone, he's not interested in any business opportunities and asked them to please remove the number from their call list. Instead of saying 'no problem, sorry to bother you', they act shocked that they've called a child, ask how old he is and comment that he must be "very industrious"! I again asked for his number to be placed on their do not call list and the call was abruptly ended with no reply.
Not two hours passed and they called again! This time when I answered they immediately hung up. If you call them back they have an automated system with an option to be placed on their do not call list permanently. I really wanted to complain, so I chose the option to speak to a representative, but so far I've had no luck getting through. It seems like they're taking me off hold and immediately hanging up.
