These people have been calling numerous times a day. Mainly let it ring only one to two times then hang up. No messages. Annoying.  

They call FIVE time TODAY and nobody there.  Number is spoofed according to a weird recording.

Tried to get my wife to press certain keys on her computer to gain access.

Indian accent.

Shows up as Warner Robin, GA.  

Claimed to be from Microsoft IT, and that malicious viruses were in my computer, and they wanted to help me.  Tried to get me to install the AMMYY program, but I refused, several times told them that they were scammers.  Hung up on them, and they called me back, at which point I kept them on the phone for nearly 30 mn so they wouldn't be calling a more gullible person.

Annoyed and concerned, as they claimed to have my computer IP address.  That was disconcerting. and I'm sure many would believe them at that point. Glad I didn't.

Just got two calls in a row from these scammers.  First call I turned on the scanner and answered, "North precinct; fraud division.  Clearly state your name and company name for the record."  Woman with a heavy Indian accent gave some phony name and said they were calling about my Windows computer.  I said, "F^%^& you, scammer" and she hung up.  About 2 minutes later the phone rang again, from the same faked caller-ID.  Answered the same way, and this time a guy started talking about Windows.  I asked, 'Why are you calling the police?  What is your reason for calling the police about this?"  He said something in (I believe) Hindi and hung up very quickly.
