I just received a call from this number, but they didn't leave a voicemail and I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize.

This must be a new telescam number designed to get around the Do No Call list.  This number called my cell but left no message.  I recommend ignoring any number not in your cell's phone book.  My carrier does not have a Call Blocking feature.  Not a problem, I punch "ignore."
