Received voicemail from caller,  Mr Akels who talks about a serious matter involving social security # and needs call back from self or lawyer asap. included case number 262997.

Received a call from this number, man reported that he was hired by my bank to file a settlement notice on my husband.  When asked what the settlement was regarding, he referenced a credit card that we had years ago, that was closed and paid in full.  He cited a file number, gave the last 4 numbers of my husband's SSN and DOB, several of our previous addresses.  He asked for my email address which I refused to give, and told him that I would only accept correspondence by mail.  All of a sudden, his "other line" rang, with a "lawyer" on the phone.  When he came back on the line, he was quick to get off the phone, telling me he'd send something in the mail.

Guy calling me, asking for me by my name.  I googled the number and saw this so I just told him he had the wrong number.  I do have a few outstanding debts that I've been making good on payments on for over a year now, and I refuse to be harassed by someone claiming to be a lawyer.  If they call back, i'll just let the call go to VM.  I'll eventually block the number if it continues to call.
