We got a call yesterday from this number saying that we owed money on a vehicle from 2005 or 2006.  They were adamant that we could pay 1/3 of it that day and it would be forgiven.  When my husband told him that we didn't owe anything he got beligerant and said that the IRS would be going after us for unpaid taxes on the loan that we took out to  purchase the vehicle.  We were very nice to the man but he was very rude.  He told us we had an hour to give him our bank information to hold the deal we were getting. He changed his story after we didn't call back to take the deal in an hour.  He called back and talked nicer and gave us until the end of the day.  He called us every hour or so to harass us about being non-tax payers and threaten us with our income taxes and Georgia being the most difficult state in the union for people who refuse to pay taxes.  I have never heard of paying taxes on a loan that has been paid off.

This exact thing happened to my mother today about unpaid taxes on a Sears card! He said the same threats verbatim but just used a different "loan" type.

Exact same number and everything

I received a voicemail from this number today.  The message states "please be advised you have a very serious complaint here in my department where your social security was involved.  As of 3 o'clock today we are going to deadline this particular matter, we're not going to be able to extend the comfort zone at that point" - yeah, right...lol

This person called asking if i knew Lisa Rice, in which I told him no.  He said that she was making phone calls from this number.
