My elderly mother received a phone call from this caller and they told her that she needed to renew her Microsoft License or else she would lose all access to the Internet.  They told her to log in on her computer, and walked her through on how to give them access, so that they could show her the expiring Microsoft License. AND she did!!!  Then they started their sales pitch that she needed to buy a new license for $299.  She told them that she wasn't ready to make that decision now because they called and woke her up, she's a diabetic and hadn't had anything to eat yet.  She told them she needed to get something to eat and think about this and she would call them back, and asked for their number.  They gave her this number:  469-675-6068, but told her that they would call her back at 1:00 p.m.  They had an Indian accent.  She called me and now we are working on damage control, ARGH!

I've been getting frequent call from a company claiming to be agents for Microsoft.  I'm told that my computer has been hacked and they've contracted by Microsoft to help MS users.  When I asked for a company telephone they gave is 315 908 1450.
This is a Scam.

I had a message start popping up every time I went on Firefox. It said that my Norton Antivirus software had found a virus, and that I should call the 1888-258-5284 for help. RED FLAG....I don't have NORTON!!! An Indian man, told me to remove the virus it would cost a fee of $100! SCAM!!!
