Called 2x back to back.  Left one message saying, "...preapproved for up to $1000".  Did not state name of company.  Prompted "press 1" to accept loan..."press 2" to be taken off of list.

I followed your advice and called them back. I had to press 9 to be on the do not call list.

You should not have done that.
