They called at 9:58 AM. I didn’t answer. At 10:14 I called the number, 469-619-2110.
The female that answered, when I asked what company was calling, said it was Everest Receivable Services, and when I asked what state they were in, she hung up.
At 10:15 I called the number again, the female said they were just trying to locate Walter Douglas, and again I asked what state they were in, and she stopped talking, but did not terminate the call, she just left it open, and did not respond to me.
About 12:00 noon, I emailed them from their website contact page, asking them to stop calling me.
12:15 Called the number. The guy that answered said he would remove my phone number from their list, which may take 24 hours. He was very polite.
(On previous calls, over the last 6 years, I have asked to be removed, and they have always said OK, but did not remove my number.)
Jan 30, 2013 I got another call from 888-966-6016 looking for Walter Douglas.
I guess they will continue to harass me.
