This is a recorded message left on my answering machine. The person identifies himself as Dennis Grey, and claims to be from the US Treasury. He says he is contacting me (doesn't use my name, ever) "regarding an enforcement action executed by the us treasury intending my serious attention...warrant an initial appearance before a grand jury for a federal criminal offense." I'm sure this is exactly how the US Treasury would contact me if I were ever in such a predicament! I'm afraid there may be others who would believe they are in serious trouble and contact this person, whom I'm sure is on the other end the conversation trying to get personal information from them and/or money. I did not call this number back, and I hope you will not either!

This is a recorded message left on my cell phone.  The person identifies himself as Dennis Grey, and claims to be from the US Treasury.  He says he is contacting me(doesn't use my name or what the enforcement action is) regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury intending my serious attention...warrant an initial appearance fefore a grand jury for a federal criminal offense.  You do not want to call this number back and give any of your personal information the call is strictly a prank call from someone who is fishing for your information.  I will never answer any phone call from anyone I didn't recognize the number.

This man left a message stating he was Dennis Gray representing the US Treasury, and this was his second attempt to contact me regarding "enforcement action executed by the US treasury intending my attention.  Ignoring this will be a second intentional attempt to avoid a grand jury or magistrate judge for a federal criminal offense. Cooperate with us and help us help you."  He never mentioned my name but has left 2 messages.  He makes it sound like one is in very serious trouble.  This is obviously a scam, but I feel like it could trick some people into calling back.

Just had the same message and of course it is a scam. I agree that some innocent people may be intimidated by this ridiculous message. I refuse to answer these horrible phone calls, it is my way of coping with the constant daily annoying ongoing harassments. If these crooks put their energy into doing something good instead of bad this world would be a better place.

7-30-15  Hello!  This is a scam harassment call and needs to be stopped immediately.  Report this number and call to your local police.  I had the same experience with two threatening messages.  "The person identifies himself as Dennis Grey, and claims to be from the US Treasury.  He says he is contacting me and doesn't use my name or what the enforcement action is regarding an enforcement action executed by the US Treasury intending my serious attention...warrant an initial appearance fefore a grand jury for a federal criminal offense."  Do NOT call back.  Report and BLOCK this number now! If you can tape record this call, let your police department know so they can have an accurate record of such calls.
