Caller (with Indian accent) claimed to be from Windows Technical Support.  This is a pure scam.  They try to get  you to go to a website. This gives them control of your PC where they can load who knows what. Most likely identity thief, looking for passwords, accounts, etc.  Just hang up on them.  Don't engage in any conversation.  By the way the caller ID showed the name field as the letter "V" followed by a string of numbers.  I assume the caller ID number is random. So any call with a name that is similar to some combination of letters/numbers is probably the same thing.
