What an jerk. Rude beyond. Called and asked for the owner. He's not here as he is now retired. I'll call his cell. You cannot reach his cell. Why, did he lose it? I have no idea. Oh, good, then you know absolutely nothing. I do know this, do not ever call this number again you a$$*)^e!

Wow, apparently I have some work to do. I would never want someone to call my office asking for my business in the manner some of you have described. Just received a call from a Gordon with F&M, phone number 469-547-2995. He asked for our owner by name stating he was supposed to call him before 3pm. I'm sure he was since my boss isn't even in the office today, and possibly won't be in at all this week. When I asked what it was regarding, he actually tried to say he's not at liberty to tell me that. I always know what every call my boss is expecting is about, without exception. As his personal assistant, it's my job to know these things. Gordon better step his game up if he wants to speak with our owner. We don't play around, and we don't take sales calls over the phone. Ever.

Jonathan, please let Gordon know that he is NOT slick. He just tried calling my owner, and lied about why he called, then would not give any details on why he was calling. This is a huge clue that he has no business speaking with my owner. Also, when I ask what the call is regarding, and his response is that he can't tell me that, he is not ever going to get any further than me. Gordon needs to be a little nicer, and maybe think about asking for the accounting manager instead of isiting to speak with the owner.

Got a call from Gordon today. He asked for the retired owner. This is ALWAYS the tip off on a sales call. When I asked him what it was concerning he said" Am I gonna be tied up on the phone? I was supposed to call him before 2". I told him that was interesting since the guy he asked for has been retired for 4 years. Told him "don't call back" and GOOD-BYE. Not sure what this business is but not the kind anyone should do business with, who wants to deal with a LIAR.
