that is the best way to make you keep getting more calls from them, as well as other scammers. You advice is ludicrous.

Call left message saying it was last attempt, saying U.S. Treasury regarding an enforcement action. Call back to talk to agent.

Same experience as Bill. Could upset those without knowledge of how our government works. Blocked the phone #. Hate that these people are out in the world and worry for those who aren't educated/aware of scamming.

Received a message stating that this was the 2nd attempt and failure to call back would result in a federal charge being filed against me. Guess the "this is you grandkid and I'm in jail in Mexico - please send bail money" as well as the "it's the IRS and you better pay today or you're going to prison" tricks weren't working. Shame on these parasites preying on emotions!!
