wierd it was a post i put on craigslist for a camera, i knew it was a scam from the txt, came to google and found this, I LOVE THE NET lol

I also received a text message from that number for my samsung galaxy on Craigslist I knew it was a scam I asked why they couldn't ship it themselves and just meet me for the exchange I don't fall for that stuff it makes me mad I'm glad I found it on Google as well somebody needs to report him and please keep me posted ccselby08091112@Gmail.com

Just got a text from this number asking for a ring I was selling on Craigslist. Didn't even give them a chance. Most of the numbers that start with 469-464-xxxx are scammers, text messages sent from them are through a VoIP number, such as when one uses Skype. Just keep an eye out.

Received this message from 469-464-9857 today for a CraigsList ring ad: "Hello, This MSG sent to you in Regards about your item[ Valentine's Day Special! Diamond Anniversary Ring - $300 ] listed on craigslist and i am interested in buying it,get back to me if you still have it and lets talk about the price." The improper capitalization and lower case, as well as sentence structure made me think this wasn't legit so I checked online and found these reports. I let the person at the other end know that I found out they're a scammer and never to contact me again.

I was contacted by this dude regarding my motorcycle that is listed for sale on craigslist. He was looking for a car to be shipped overseas for his parents. I told him it was a motorcycle and he continued with he still wanted to buy it, but he requested my bank acct. information, or a PayPal acct information. I told him this is a physical cash only transaction and I have not heard back from him.
