Waiting on word from the state attorney's office.
It had been a few days since they called after they slowed down after I told them about my complaints and that I know it is a scam. This time, it was "Amy Allen" calling looking for the same person who is unknown at this number. Instead of telling them to not call and that I have reported them, this time I just asked her a lot of questions: confirm name, company, location....she asked why I wanted to know and I told her that I was keeping a log of all these calls. She promptly hung up.
All I can think to do now is report them to the cops....they're the only people I haven't reported them to! These are, after all, unwanted and harassing phone calls.
These are some of the worst people around. They are open criminals. Shameless thieves. It is amazing how they can openly break the law. They used to call from a Los Angeles number but those calls stopped. Now it is this Dallas number.....same script, same wrong name, same garbage. The woman even gave the same name as a previous call from the Los Angeles number.
This is all so ridiculous now.
Complaining to the correct government departments might not provide immediate results, but it can help in the long run and has to be better than nothing.
