I've been getting calls from this number for a few weeks now. I am a property manager so I get calls from all over the country from odd numbers so I didn't think anything of it. They never left messages until a week ago and finally when I got a message I decided to look it up on here. Next time they called, I answered and they said they were collecting on a debt from Citi Bank of South Dakota. After years of paying off all my credit card debt, I know I have no outstanding debts besides student loans. This "Mr. Burns" (all i can think of is the guy from the Simpsons) claims that I have "soo much student loan debt" that I don't even know where it comes from (which is false because I have 1 student loan company I have all my loans through). I told him it was harassment and I'm going to report him for running a scam and he hung up. I haven't heard from him since. Hope this helps.

I received 2 calls today from this number. The second I picked up and a woman ask for someone by their name, and said that they have received information about this person, and the spewed off the last 4 numbers of their (alleged) social security card. I listened patiently to her whole scam, then I let her have it with both barrels. I told her, first of all you have the wrong person, have no idea who's last 4 numbers of the social security she just gave, and that the only reason I listed to her whole story was to make her was her time. She said, all you had to do was tell me that at the beginning and I proceeded to call her a whole slew of 4 letter words, as nastily as I could. I told her she was an ignorant C#%T, was full of S*%T with her F*$KING story, a dumb B*#CH for thinking she was talking to the right person. And finally I told she could suck my D*%K...Then I told her to have a very pleasant day, before I told her she could now kiss my A$S. Then I told her I was reporting her number to the FCC and the Attorney General's Office. If it was a man I would have done the same thing, so nobody can accuse me of being sexist. That is my usual way of handling telemarketers. Sometimes I will have fun with them. I will listen to everything they have to say (especially if they are selling something) then when they finally finish and say, "would you be interested in purchasing our product," I tell them in a little squeaky voice, "I would but I am only 6 years old...lol...
