Sounded garbled, looking for ----- , urgent to call back within 24 hrs @ 1-888-331-1438. I believe this to be a 3rd party collection agency violating the law.

Identifies themselves as H P Locate a Texas number. I have already been a victim of payday loan scam. This is probably them again.

Leaves an automated voicemail saying he is a private investigator. For what-don't know and don't care. If he was legit, would leave a real name. Beware-also uses 469-342-0168.

I just received the same HP investigators (investigating for "American Home Mortgage?") automated call here in MA...asked me to press 1 if I wanted to discontinue being "investigated"...didn't press 1...very scammish
