Just called the number back and a guy answered "hello" then after letting him know I received a call he went on with his donation for state troopers thing. Told him I worked for a local PD and if I donated it would be through them and to please take my number off of their list. He said he would do so and we ended the call. He was very nice about it. I do not trust anyone calling asking for money.

Just received a call from this number.  I never answer calls I don't know where they are coming from, but they didn't even bother to leave a message.  Just got a hang-up call and that was it.  I automatically put them in my own DNC list by bunching them with other calls from these no-good numbers and have a silent ringtone for them and so I never have to hear the phone ring again when they call again.  I just heard blissful silence.

I've talked to police about this Texas state troopers assn. it is a scam. Police do not benefit one bit from  them. Do not give them a dime.

Received a call and asked if I wanted to contribute a donation to the Texas State Troopers Association. I know better than to believe people who place calls like these.
