Scam artist.

Claimed to be a Gunnery Sergeant in USMC but the Marines don't have a GS by that name on their roster

I got the call as well about 10 mins ago- USMC GS.....blah, blah...
Wanted to speak to the "owner of the company"- got rude with me when I started asking questions.
Then told me a lame joke--- (to which I saw the punch line coming from a mile away) "What's the best part of a bad apple?....The Core".
Geez, really???
No idea what kind of call this really is, as he only wanted to tell me it's "official military matter ma'am".
He then attempted to make me feel like a low-life by saying "Here, let me spell it out for you; it's Gunnery G-U-N-N..." I just cut him off.
I'm in Houston as well--- seem all of the replies have been local.

Scam - Don't answer calls from this number

A man from this number just called saying he was "with the Marine Corp." asking for the owner and I said, "he's not available.." and he said, "well give me his number.." and i said, "im sorry im not allowed to give that out.. Can I help you with anything?.. I take care of everything at this location.." he said .. "oh no ma'am, we just fight your wars for you.." CLICK. SO RUDE!! tried to call back and give him a piece of my mind.. but number is 'not in service'.. of course.
