i got a call today. just bought a car with them as lender 6 days ago. payment is not even due for a month. you people are scaring me!!

I just bought a new car and did not use Capital One to finance, but I did just get a new credit card from them. They called but did not leave a message

I have a car loan with Cap 1. Don't EVER get a loan with them. They just offered ME to defer a payment to bring the acct. current - and now they conveniently can't seem to provide me with the letter they REQUIRE that I sign to do so. I am also trying to get my car re-registered and the state requires paperwork back from Cap 1 re: title of course. They can't seem to get that done either, and now I'm running on expired plates and the state won't re-issue a temp registrtn. (the 1st one gave Cap. 1 30 days to make it all happen - still waiting!)

Researching it, as recently as last month, people have paid off their loans and Cap. 1 is LOSING some people's titles!!!

FYI: They just got $35 Billion in the bailout.

I got a call from this number asking about my daughter's loan.  They gave a local phone number (at least I think it was a legitimate number; I didn't get all of it memorized as I was shopping when they called) as her work number.  She has never worked in this town and now lives in another state. Furthermore, she has never had a car loan with this company and paid off her loan 6 or 7 years ago.  She still drives that same car.  I thought it was a scam and will report it to the Attorney General in my state.

I am like $80 dollars behind b/c I just moved, I get an average of 9-13 call a day... multiple that by by 7.  I have communicated with them AND told them not to call   WOW!
