I was on the phone with auto club when this number called. When I called back, he identified himself as an auto club rep. What's weird was he hung up afterwards. I googled the number and found all kinds of things about this. Why does he have direct access to auto club's 800 number that he is able to call right away . I had suspicions when it gave the source caller from Texas.

I just got a call from this number. No voice, just silence and then hung up.  I am a former AAA member so it makes sense that they may be trying to sell me something but perhaps one of their employees is creepy as well.

Didn't answer the call, but they did not leave a voicemail.  Thirty minutes prior I had filled out an online "request-a-quote" on the AAA-Texas website.  

So probably a legit follow-up phone call to my online inquiry.....

This number has called my phone a lot in the past few weeks. I answered it once and it was a guy asking me to renew my AAA with him and to give me a credit card.. I didn't said no thanks. He was not happy. Just got 3 more calls today from the number....

Legit call from AAA regarding extending my membership because the credit card on file is no longer valid.
