Got a call from "Lakendra" at this number on Mar 4, 2008. Identified herself with Citibank's "Unsecured underwriting" department. She couldn't provide me with an ID number of any kind. I called customer service to confirm, they verified that the number she gave me (866-533-5595) was legit, but was odd she didn't give me an ID number.
I called the 866 number (not the 469 one) and the person I talked to didn't know how to locate her. Lakendra said anyoone would be able to connect me with her. I'm waiting to see if she calls back. If so, I'll ask for her "Personnel Number." I was told that everyone in the company has either that, or a "General Number." Then I'll ask for her direct line or something to reach her, because I'm going to confirm the personnel number she gives me with the customer support line 800-374-9700.
