Again, another hang-up from a landline:  name on caller ID:  Consolidatone.  Am really getting tired of these calls, especially being on the "DO NOT CALL' registry!

Called, I answered and no one there. Block number from my phone. P.S. the do not call registry is crap.

This number called my home phone today.  Caller ID came up as CONSOLIDATEONE.   An online search using the Caller ID name brought up many debt consolidation companies.  Only one was listed specifically by that name, but clicking the link took me to a debt consolidation company of another name.  The phone number, as well as the name, was different for that business than what my caller ID or the search showed, and the company was listed as being in the state of Washington.  The area code is Oregon.  Their site claimed to have an A+ BBB rating, but if they are as honorable that that claim seems to imply, why would they be calling people on the Do Not Call list?

A search by the phone number only brought up this site, and a bunch of others.  The others gave no useful info at all.  At least this site let me know that a couple of others have gotten this call.

Either that one debt consolidation company is using telemarketers in a neighboring state to drum up business in violation of the Do Not Call list, or it is a scam call.

No matter what, I'm not answering, and I will block the number if they keep calling.

Keep getting phone calls from this number.  They call and hang up when I answer.
I'm on the do not call list, so this is annoying.

They called my house, too, but was not home at the time.  I called this number back and I was able to remove my number from their list via an automated voice system.  I suggest others do the same if they do not want this to continue.
