said to call back asap there is a court date --  said they were going to my house tomorrow between 3-5pm

I received the same exact call, however, my immediate family received callso asking for me as well. Told me of a court date, and they would be at my house between 3 and 5 pm.

My daughter got this call for me aswell. Is this a scam of some sort

got the call just now - same EXACT message as everyone else. My daughter got the same call for me on my old phone that she now has. Although the number they used was listed as a scammer by other people. All I know is when you are being summoned to court a person drops it off at your home. they don't call you. And if you were going to be arrested or charged with something or a civil complaint against you then the officer will leave their name and how to get back in touch with them, usually at a police department. I have worked in law enforcement before and this is not the norm. So I would think that this is a scam. and NEVER give out your social security number. They would already have that. I recently opened a new checking account and also a new furniture credit purchase and this is when my scam calls have upped in frequency. I think I landed on a list.

I called this number because my sister has been getting the same calls left on her line for her. My sister is sick and is elderly so I took it upon myself to call them.  A VERY RUDE man answered the phone and I asked him what company this was and he asked me for a case number. I said I don't have a case number but my sister keeps getting these calls and he said that he would not tell me what company this is and we went back and forth until he hung up on me! This has to be a scam because if this was a real court case or even a bill collector they would want to give all of their information to get their legitimate money!! Every bill collector I have ever spoken to will say that they are a bill collector and give you the whole legal jargon. This really upset me because he was so rude!!! They shouldn't be able to call people and try to scam people out of their money. I told my sister not to answer the phone and let me handle it!! THESE PEOPLE SHOULD BE ARRESTED!!
