"Hello, we have an important message about your electric bill..."  A robo-call that says I'm now qualified to receive a discount on my electric bill and to "press 5" to be transferred to an operator.  I hung up.

Same as above post by Barbara.  Positive this is not legit because the call came to my cell phone.  If my electric company was actually calling me they would use the number attached to my account which is my house phone, not my cell phone.  I did not press 5 to speak to the friendly person who was going to explain my discount, nor did I press any other number.  The call eventually disconnected itself.  Oh, and of course, the call came right at dinner time.  Scumbags!

On caller ID today - 2:37 pm est.  Caller ID just says "ELECTRIC DEPT"  Yeah.  no message left.  Go figure.
