It was in an email:

Reason: Fraud Atempts

We require you to complete an account update so we can unlock your account.

Email from "security@visa.com"    (note spelling of: "total" free number..! near end..

My wife got the same email - Took a look at it - If you look close, they spelled "Department" incorrectly - (Depart 'A' ment in the email) and through in some incorrect punctuation. I just got off the phone with Visa just to check - said there was no customer service number with that phone number.

Smells like Spam-erosity to me. Probably trying to sucker you into calling the number, recording the incoming number and then reverse calling and reverse lookup so it gets your information. If you do that, basically confirming you have a Visa card to would be crooks.  I hate those guys.

This is a Cleveland, OH area code, not a toll free number as claimed in the email.
