Three calls in 3 days.  Automated vm claiming I'm being sued by the IRS and to call back immediately.   Pfft!!!

IRS is filing lawsuit against us. Obvious scam.

Another IRS scam caller.  I called back and a man with a heavy East Indian accent identified himself as Lawrence Sawyer (yeah right!).  He said I was being sued by the IRS for $10,000 and I need to pay it immediately.  I said I was broke and didn't have that much money, he said he would accept $1,000.  I said that's all I have to live on for food and rent.  He said he would go to $800.  Again I said I wouldn't be able to buy food.  He then said $500, I then said I know he is a fraud and that the IRS would send a notice in the mail and that they would never call someone like that.  He said he would end the call and I said that's a good idea...

These people are relentless.  I get at least two calls a day....there must be some really STUPID people to believe that the IRS will call and keep going down when you tell them you don't have the money.  The IRS will not call people....they send letters.
