I did not answer this so-called local call from the same area code as mine. Instead I did a Google search of the phone number. After slogging through countless pages showing no evidence of malfeasance, the very last link displayed a website: www.private-database.ru and voila! The number that spoofed me was among 20 or so displayed as a Google website preview. More sinister than I expected. My advise? Do not interact with any of these telemarketers in a call. Better yet, don't even answer them! They could be downloading all your phone data as you talk to them! Don't answer any call you don't recognize!
