I too recieved the same call.  I made contact w/company they claimed I owed money too.  They have no record of me and explained the scam.  I then contacted Washington State Attorney General to file formal complaint.  Then I called the number again, let them know I turned them into everyone I could think of and they needed to cease their harrassing phone calls.  The person asked who I was so they could remove me from their phone list.  I hung up w/out telling who I was. I have not recieved any more calls/ have not been arrested and when I call the number they gave me, they no longer answer.

I have had the same call today.. Stating that I have to call that number with my attorney or they will arrest me and detain me for two days and then I will have to pay 5000 in court cost. I do believe this is a scam. I live in alabama and the number that called me was an out of state number but the person stated that he was Charlie Mason with the local sherriff's department. Yet he would not give me the county in which the sherriff's department was located in. Just thought I would let you know you are not the only one.

ya this joker is calling me stating ill be arrested for not paying back a payday loan that i never even eccepted, now i live in ny and in this state there are alot laws that prohibit payday loan payouts.  when i call them back, he gives me attitude, now when i call back he doesnt answer and when i let it ring 20times, it goes to a messege that the wireless provider is not expcepting calls, then when he does answer(alex) wont give me the information that i ask for.  SCAM!   has anyone else been arrested yet, lol

yeah last night two people frm chicago got arrested ge just have same situation!!!!!!!!!!!!! the officer left messg was shaun taylor!!!!!!!!!!!!!same debt collection!!!yeah scary for me i paid mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

very sad, this guy just called us back and said he didnt apprecite my comments, then a few minutes later he replies as bbb  and says "he was arrested"  very sad, sounds like scam and this guy needs to hit some sort of quota with phone calls.  good luck bud, lol   whata joke
