The wimps laugh at you cause you get frustrated. The best way to frustrate them is to ignore them and block their numbers. Everyone should do the same, and then they'll end up getting frustrated. Who cares if they laugh or not, just ignore them. Giving them attention will waste your time. But if you have time, curse them out, play around with their heads, and waste their time.

To OhioCop ~ If you think these [***] only call homeowners, I've got a real shocker for you.  I finally pushed '1' on my phone a few minutes to talk  to a rep, since pushing '2' to remove my number from their list doesn't work.  I got a guy, so I immediately told him that #1:  Do not hang up on me until I'm done and #2 ~ I do not own a home, I rent a small apartment and therefore have no yard to put a sign in!  He didn't know what to say but he did hang up as I was telling him to honor my previous requests to not call me.  Wonder how long it'll last?  Btw, this call was from Washington state; I live in middle Tennessee.  If I wanted a security system, I'd call somebody local.

I have time to waste right now, so I'm posting this. I received a call today from 425-390-8920 with a recorded message about GE alarm systems, so I pressed 1 to speak to the rep, & when she came on the line, I said
" Honey, I'm so glad you called, I've been trying to find somebody to come here & suck my ****. Would YOU like to come here & suck my ****?"
She said" Sir, you have a heavy accent & I can't understand you. This is America & we speak English here."
I said " My **** doesn't care about accents, you're most welcome to come here & do the job". She hung up.
With these kinds of telemarketing calls, I see the caller number displayed on my TV set & decide whether I'm in the mood to receive the caller & insult them ( this was NOT a threat, but an invitation), or I could just allow the call to pass over the line, then go back & delete it. In other words, are you annoyed, or are you in the mood at the moment to convert this telemarketing call into a chance for FUN & vengeance without making any personal threats which are illegal.

I recommend a cheap application called "Call Control" to block these calls. For eight bucks you get all incoming calls screened against a database maintained by the Call Control community. You also have the ability to block specific numbers or whole series of numbers.

If the marketers use a new number that isn't on my blacklist and not in the national data base, I get one call. After I hang up, it's very simnple to [***] that number to my blacklist tool

I'm not here to sell anything... just a satisfied user. I recommend you google the program and see for yourself. Oh.. they do have a free version.  Once you see how it works, the eight dollars will seem like a real bargain.

Received call from 425-390-8920 on 31-DEC-2012 at 1419 and again on 2-JAN-2013 at 1342. I did not answer. Caught a very short message each time, something about leaving a small sign.
