Male caller identifying himself as "John Clemmens" leaving a message about an application regarding "safety training".  His call has no relevance to me.  I suspect phishing scam.  His call was not returned.

Hi this is Steve Shephard, I was told to contact you in regards to your state and local posting requirements. You can reach me at 888.993.3580. (Caller ID showed 425.381.4874)

We received this call from a company claiming to need over $100 to send out the new safety posters as required by the state of Idaho.  I told him I could not authorize any charges, as we are a non-profit (humane society) and all things financial had to be submitted to a board of directors for review.  (besides, I know darn well those required posters and documents are sent by the agency that requires them.  Not some random "safety" company in Bothell, WA.)

I received the same call but with a different name. In his message, he tried to sound very official saying, "you need to call me regarding your safety requirements for the State of Idaho." In reality, he wants to sell safety posters that I can get FREE from the State of Idaho.
