received a call from this number. I called them back a lady answered and asked how may I direct your call, I explained I received a call from this number. She asked for the number with the area code, I soon recited it back to her she said she couldn't find it and I asked what is this in reference to  she hung up on me.

This is a scam company.  They are trying to get your social security number, driver license number, address, and mother's maiden name so that they can steal your identity.
