His name is "Alex martinez" which is untrue because he has a thick indian accent. Do not answer any of his phone calls

Got a voice mail saying to call this number about a lawsuit filed "in my name." No details, not customized to anything unique about me. I think it may be a scam.

Phone calls mean nothing ( nor do faxes or emails). Your "name" has been filed but no details given?? SCAM. IF you did have a problem you would be served without notification.

I got a voicemail. I called back and a man answers and says his name is alex martinez, says he's an officer at the IRS saying I owed money to IRS or else a lawsuit would be filed and sent to my county court house. Don't believe it. It's a scam. Report him to the IRS. You should not receive calls; if the IRS had issues with you, they'd send you a letter.
