They don't leave messages and their call-center system is crappy (take a bit to connect).
The individual I talked with was both helpful and accurate regarding the dispute (the company, Kaiser, had told me they sent it to collections - albeit unnecessary, as people in their dept were still getting information back to me, but whatever).
AMO told me who they were collecting for, the amounts and wasn't pushy about the fact that there were other factors and pushed the time out a bit to make time for that communication.
Don't think it's a scam when I got first hand info from the company (Kaiser Permenente) regarding the charge.
