The above poster claims NLS is not a debt collection company.

We contact individuals in good faith and extend an opportunity for them to resolve outstanding balances by working within their financial means to create affordable payment options."

NLS thinks it's legal to threaten lawsuits on 21 year old debt.

Ally Grey calls me and asks for Jeff consumer  I tell her that is my last name but no "Jeff" here. I tell her your lying to my face dont call anymore. She says she is going to keep calling later that day. I call back and talk to Joe the supervisor and he says "we are not a collection agency" I tell him I am sure you want to get Jeff but there is no Jeff here. He says why are you mad? I say because you call me and lie to me and tell you Jeff consumer gave you this number! complete bulloney. You have  a database and your calling same name same area whatever your lying to me. He re-iterates that the guy gave him the number.  I guess they dont mind lying for a living. Filing a complaint with the FTC.

You are correct.  Per the definition given in the FDCPA and Washington state law New Leaf Solutions LLC is not a debt collector.  look for yourself.

Why don't you just give the number for the family member that you are hiding. Obviously he gave your number as a reference so help us contact him so we can stop wasting your time and ours.
