Actually, New Leaf (NLS) no longer exists according to the state of Washington. Strangely enough, Take 2 Holdings is in precisely the same building as New Leaf was. What a "coincidence"!!

These people call and leave a message with my 15 year old son stating "Either you or legal counsel need to contact me immediately". A Joe Malone then continues to call and harass my grandmother, my current landlord and my previous employers. I returned his call at the phone number left (425) 212-1562 and that number was disconnected. I tried one of the numbers in the other posts and was able to reach him. He stated that he was a type of advisory to take care of this debt. He became argumentative when I told him that if he needed to speak to my husband or I, then he needed to contact us directly and not harass my grandmother or landlord. Joe Malone became very rude at this point and would not let me talk, but continued to raise his voice talking over me. These are RUDE people and I refuse to deal with them anymore.

Of course they're rude. Fraudulent debt collectors are always rude. They can't scam any money if they're polite. The scrawny vermin that are employed by fraudulent debt collection outfits survive by being rude....and by being able to run fast. They can also hide better than a low priced hooker in a back alley. It's a survival characteristic. The hookers are more intelligent though. Not that it takes much...

Unlike everyone else I got a letter from take 2 holdings that I have court in small claims. I'm gonna show up to prove these people are a fraud.  Take 2 holdings llc is registered as an employment agency not a collections agency

I feel like such a dumbass. Unfortunately, due to situations that I have created in my life, I actually believed that this was a fair debt that I owed their "client". I paid them $30 a week for about 12 weeks. Mr Joe Malone offered me a settlement of $250 to erase my $2000+ debt. I feel so stupid that I fell for this. I have since cancelled my credit card. And now, they have changed their number to an 844 area code which doesn't exist. Again, I feel like such a schmuck for believing this. Fortunately, I am only out $300. But that is $300 I could have put somewhere else. Please don't be a knucklehead like I was.
