I just got call on company phone. Did not answer as did not recognize it no voice mail. My wife got call,same number couple hours ago on her personal cell . Answered ,woman with bad English spoke...could not understand,hung up.

Hard a hard time understanding, I thought she said $5,000.  Told her I didn't believe a word she was saying and hung up.

I just received a call from this group, I live over 2,000 miles away from the Seattle area, so there is literally no way I would qualify for whatever "federal Grant" they were attempting to "give" me, and if I somehow did qualify I would not have been notified via a phone call, especially one where you couldn't even make out what they were saying half the time because of their thick accent and the horrible background noise from their partners calling other people. Be careful.

I got a cold call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming that I was selected by the Federal Government to receive a $9,000 grant that I do not have to repay and is tax-free. My phone said the call came from Washington, but she claimed that she was calling from Washington DC. She said that all I had to do was provide my bank account or reloadable card number, and they would then transfer the money into the account within 45 minutes. When I said I would not provide my bank account number, she hung up.

She called me about a half hour ago. Same scam. After she asked me if I wanted to know how I qualified for the tax free $9000, I asked who was she calling for. Click.
