What a joke.  If you are going to try and scam at least be ineligible.  Didn't take more than 10 seconds to sniff this guy out..

I played along for a little bit until they asked me about a routing number and bank account. I refused to provide it and asked for a credit card or picture ID. I said "thank you, but not interested, I don't think the government is giving away money " and he got real mad. I hung up. BTW they were offering $9,000 for personal use.

Just got a call from the same number: +1 (425) 206 - 8546 pretending to offer $9,000.00 from Federal Government grant.

Just got a call from this number...the guy had a middle eastern accent. Said I was randomly selected by the govt to receive 9k for being a 'good citizen'. Then he said that a 2012 regulation stated the money had to be transferred electronically and he needed my bank acct info or credit card info. I laughed and said 'so you want me to give you my personal financial info, naw homey'.. He simply said 'Well ok' and disconnected. I called the number back and it just rang busy. What's tragic is someone greedy or desperate will fall for this

Got the same call as (Can't Believe) I had won a $9,000 grant..he would like to know how I would spend it. Ha Ha  wanted to know where to deposit the money. I told him just mail it to me! Really any way to try to get your bank account number.
Grow up and get a job! And stop your scamming.
