• Microsoft or a different famous software company, or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
• The moon is not made of green cheese.
• The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
• Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
• If you "green dot", MoneyGram or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
• You should beware of Geeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse with termites, or a statement that your computer is infected.
• 876 is NOT your lucky number, and it will cost you money to call that area code!
• The number you see on your Caller ID may not be the number of the person who called you!

I had recieved a call from this number today while i was at work. The lady that was on the phone claimed she worked for the federal government & spoke poor english telling me a had won $9,000 for a government grant. Which i was really starting to believe because I had just signed up for my financial aid earlier today for school. I went along with the call for a total of 6 minutes & then they asked me for my bank account information... i told her i was NOT giving my bank account info. I told her i would go buy a prepaid card for $3 and give them that info & she said that they could not take "pre-paid cards".. i was like WTF?! lol then she transferred me over to the "department supervisor" his english was almost worse than hers. He kept rambling on about how i was chosen because i took one of their surveys, uhh first of all i dont do the whole survey thing, #1 reason for situations like this. & then i went on to ask him what my name was he said "to be honest with you mam' we do not have any information about you, the only thing we have is your phone number.." uh please get tf outta here lol then i told him to not call my phone anymore with the bull and hung up on him. So what exactly would they do with your account information?! they do realize if they try to do anything to ANYONES bank account they would get screwed... i dont know and dont really care. ALL I DO KNOW IS BEWARE OF THIS "GOVERNMENT GRANT PROGRAM"... SMH

This same number just called my cellphone 10 mins ago but I declined the call because I didn't recognize the number.

oh & also he said i was chosen because i had no criminal record... but the funny thing is, if you dont know my name or anything except my phone number please tell me how you "know" i have no criminal background?! ohh lord i guess these foreigners just think us americans are f****** STUPID!! nxt time they call me i am reporting they [***]. UGH
