This was a recorded message from Google Places. They asked that I claim my business listing. I don't have a business at the number they called, as it is my personal cell phone.

I think it is a local business marketer who is identifying themselves as Google Places. I received a call with an automated message and since I work with Google myself, there were things said that raised a question in my mind as to who this really was. I believe it's a telemarketing service.
