I just received a call from this number and when I answered, a digital voice came on and said something to the effect of, "Hello, this is Wells Fargo.  We regret to inform you that your account has been locked and your debit card declined.  Press 1 to be connected to our security department."

I don't bank with Wells Fargo.  I did not press 1 and I promptly hung up the phone.

Received an automated call from this number at 4:30AM. The message identified the caller as Wells Fargo.

I just received a call from this number at 11:20pm, I call back but no one answers

This phone number is calling me trying to get me to give them my Wells Fargo Card # by having an automated message say my card is locked for security reasons, I let it goto voice mail then I called the REAL Wells Fargo # on my card.  Wells Fargo said that this was a scam.

I've gotten calls before about security concerns with my cards, so I can totally see someone falling for this.

They called me at 5.27 am! Not cool. I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message, but the Wells Fargo scam makes sense, as the Seattle area had a problem last week with someone texting claiming to be from Wells Fargo.
