He tried to scam my Grandma!!! Don't fall for it!!!

I just received a call from 000-000-0000 and the man ask me a few questions, then stated that I had to call another number 424-777-9841.  He was very difficult to understand because of a language barrier, he was definately of Indian decent.  He told me that I was approved for a loan of up to $20,000 and ask how much I would like to borrow and I informed him $5,000.00.  He then broke down the various payments, 1, 2, and 3 year options with the amounts that would be due each month.  As soon as he told me that I would have to make a call to the above mentioned number I quickly got on-line to check this out to see if it were a scam.  I informed him that it was a scam and he wanted to know how I knew it and I told him that I was looking at in now on-line.  He then gave me a website to go to in which I did and it look legit but am still worried because that site would only go up to $1,500 at best for a loan.  The web site is http://www.payday-loan-america.com/.

He said that he was from US Financial not from payday-loan-america which I found interesting.

I hope that you do not have any problems with them.  I am getting more and more reluctant to take a loan over the phone unless I can check on their information first.

Total scam. I have good credit but they told me I didn't and I would have to prove to them that I could pay back 2000 with a one time fee of 250.00. don't ever put up money before you see the loan. They have alot more money than you do. Don't fall for scams like this.
